We had our second visit to the Design Center today. Since the center is only open from 9 to 5 monday through friday, it means we have to take time off from work. Luckily, she showed up today.
We talked about the things we wanted, our budget, and what we could do with that money. We decided on doing a green/black granite tile counter in the kitchen, to go with our toffee maple 42 inch kitchen cabinets (portrait style). We are doing a tile backsplash in some sort of green tile. We also decided on carpet. We have to go back again and decide on tile for the master bathroom shower, bathtub, and counter top.
We would like time in the kitchen and entry way, but we plan to do that on our own shortly after we move in, so we chose the base linoleum. I'm excited. They dug the lot next to ours, so we are hoping they will start on ours in the next 2 weeks or so. I can't wait. I really can't!
Tomorrow is field work wednesday, which always is a ridiculously busy day for me. I have a dermatologist appointment at 12:45 which is fairly inconvenient but I have a huge acne cyst on my face that developed 2 days ago. If I don't get it injected with cortisone, it will turn into a big icky gross keloid scar like i have elsewhere on my body and I just would prefer that to NOT happen. So I'm going to go and get it injected. Keloid scars are no fun.
