Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! A few days belated, but better late than never! We came back from Mexico on monday night. The flight went well, I even napped so that makes a 3 hour flight a lot less! We had a great time in Mexico, the weather was perfect and my parent's place is spectacular. Really nice. We did a bunch of sightseeing and I will get my pictures posted to my flickr account soon.

New Years Eve was also fun, we went out to dinner with my parents to this beachfront restaurant and I had wonderful coconut shrimp! We rang in the New Year watching many fireworks over the Bay in Puerto Vallarta. Really quite spectacular!

Last night we went over to Austin's parents house to celebrate his dad's birthday. Dinner and cake, and of course presents! I also finished up all of our laundry.

I got the official offer letter today from the City. I start my new job on the 22nd of January. I have already given notice here. They were sad, but I said I really needed something more permanent (the clinic is merging and job security, particularily as a temp is slim to none even though they love having me here and I do a good job). I gave them 2 weeks notice, which as a temp I don't have to do but I felt it was the right thing to do.

Anyways, that's all that is new on my end!
