My first day!

My first day was...good...but exhausting. How on earth one can get so tired from just sitting there absorbing the info that they throw at you is beyond me, but I came home exhausted. I spent most of the day with other newbies (who, were mostly all police recruits) and then went and spent 2 hours with my new department. So far so good, I'm the youngest but everyone seems really nice and funny and were all happy to see me and were very welcoming (which is much different than the reception I received at the job I was let go from).

Tomorrow I'll be back at it, and getting more hands on and more in depth. I'm really looking forward to it. I really think this could be a great experience for me!
