So...the big snow storm that was going to be THE snowstorm of April turned out to be...absolutely nothing! Amazing. I should have been a weather forecaster, becuase apparently you can always be wrong and earn a TON more money than what I make now where I actually have to be accurate for the majority of the day. I woke up this morning and opened the blinds, hoping for a lot of snow so I could stay home and relax, and there wasn't a single snow flake. Bah.
Austin took me out to dinner to my favorite italian restaurant in Louisville where I had my very favorite dish consisting of chicken artichokes and penne. Simply delish! Before that we went shopping at the mall and he got me two pairs of new shoes by DANSKO which happens to be my favorite brand du joer.
I can't believe that I'm 30 tomorrow. There is so much that I have done, and so much I haven't done. When I look back and reflect on the past 10 years, I've had many many good things, and some not so good things happen. But overall, life is good. Good family, good friends, good life. What more could I ask for?

I just saw a commercial for channel 9 news. The weather men leave work to get coffee and have to take umbrellas b/c people are throwing snowballs at them. When they get back they say "Boy! People sure are sick of the snow!" I had to laugh because I thought - no. We're tired of being wrong all the damn time. What snow could we possibly be sick of??
