Preparations for Thanksgiving
This monday will be Canadian Thanksgiving. I always feel quite homesick for my home and native land during this time of year, especially right around thanksgiving. This year, I decided to invite a few close friends over and am cooking a thanksgiving feast with all of the trimmings on sunday :)

I went on the hunt for a turkey today, which I initially thought wouldn't be too big of a deal but turns out was harder than I thought. I ended up calling 5 grocery stores and stopping at one butcher and had no luck, until I called the 6th store and they had turkeys. I pretty much ran to the store, at 8:30 at night to make sure no one else took my turkey (who knows how many other Canadians in Broomfield will be cooking a turkey this weekend!). Got my turkey, and even better it's a fresh turkey.

I will be making this recipe. Hope it turns out :)

Happy Canadian Thanksgiving! What exactly is the story behind that holiday anyway? Your ignorant readers want to know!
