I've been neglecting my blog lately, for no real big reason, just haven't been "in the mood" to blog. I am still trying to work out a personal issue that I'm trying not to let bring me down. Some days are better than others.
Things otherwise are busy. A co worker quit a few weeks ago, leaving a significant amount of work undone for awhile and things are still quite busy (we should be hitting the downtime anytime now) so I've been working 10 hour days. Luckily I do get overtime with this job. But still, it's busy. I go home exhausted. I'd like to work out, but at the end of the day, after figuring out what on earth to cook for dinner, I just don't feel like it. So not only am I sad about "the thing" but I feel fat and ugly and big and ...oh did I mention fat?
My good friend Julie finally sold her house and moved to a more urban location. We saw each other a couple times a month, but I have this nagging feeling that our friendship will fade with her moving far away. That makes me sad.
Austin's best friend Nizar and his girlfriend made an offer on a house in Thornton. It's wierd that they will live 12 minutes away instead of the 4 right now. I like them, I don't want them to move. They shoudl move next door as far as I am concerned.
Another friend, Dave, is about to enter his second marriage to a bride from the Ukraine. He leaves this week to get married. Wish him all the best, but yikes.
My parents departed last week on their trek to Mexico from Canada. They made it safely on monday and are settling in. It's still a bit wierd for me that they spend 5 months living on the beach in Puerto Vallarta. But they love it, so I'm glad.
The warrenty people are coming tomorrow to fix one of our stair bannisters that are broken. I'm glad we can call for warrenty work.
We cleaned the kitchen today. it looks much better. We are slobs and should clean more often. Less clutter is nice.
That's all.

Pshaw! It's not like I can get pedicures with Jason. :)
It's good to see you back blogging. Much as I was enjoying the pics of your famous kitties, it's nice to read updates about your life. :)
I hope things are going better for you. I miss hearing updates!
Hiya. I am still at Starbucks but not too happy with it as the early hours (4am), long hours on my feet, and high stress are not my favorite things. I'm looking to transition to a better environment. At first I would be working both jobs probably for a month or so, and then changing to full time at the new place. It's what I've always wanted - a nice quiet receptionist position :)
