Austin's surgery went well this morning. He had to have some sinus surgery done to relieve some of his breathing issues. He has been pretty nervous about the surgery as the days lead up to it, and both of us are glad it's done. It was the worst feeling to watch them roll him out of the room and out of my watchful eye. But, everything went well and he's back at home recovering. I think the next couple days will be less than great for him, but I think after he recovers he will be glad it's all over and done with.

I am so glad to hear things are okay. I know that nerve wracking feeling. My husband had knee surgery 2 years ago and it took an hour longer than it was supposed to and I was literally climbing the walls waiting for an update.
I hope Austin recovers soon and you both get some good rest!
Glad things went well, and I hope he feels better soon!
Yay! Do you need us to bring anything - food, movies, neon green ice cream? I'll even play Scene It! and let him win. :)
Glad he's doing well. Scott has a deviated septum, and needs to have surgery again soon. He's already had it done once, because it's not permanent, so he's not too nervous about it. I think it's getting to the point where it's so hard for him to breath (one side of his nose is completely closed off, the other side is like 50% open) that anything is better than not breathing well.
