This will probably be the last I write about Jones and his heart issue, becuase things seem to be going well. His complete blood panel came back as 100% normal so it wasn't due to his thyroid. So, he is now on a heart medication for the rest of his life. I gave him his first pill today. Luckily, Jones is a VERY good eater and will eat pretty much anything, so I just shoved the pill into a moist treat and he ate it no problem. If we had to give a pill to George, that would be a whole different ball game. But it isn't.
So...things are ok. He's acting completely normal of course, and only mummy and daddy know that he has a problem which is good for him. We go to the vet in 3 weeks for a follow up. From what I gather, the medicine is very much like a blood pressure reducer (they even give the same medicine to people) so both Austin and Jones have their own pill box now :)
