When my parents came up to visit us for Christmas, they brought a cold with them (ya, I know...who gets a cold in Mexico of all places?). My mom was sick for a few days, then my dad was sick for a few days, and the last 2 days of their trip I started to feel crummy and felt sick too. They are feeling 100% now and are back sunning themselves in Mexico, and Austin and I are stuck with sniffles that aren't going away. I'm getting pretty annoyed with the constant sniffles.
Work is riddiculously busy. We hired another person, (so now we are only down one) but it's still so crazy busy. The one good thing is my days fly by and before I know it it's the weekend again and I can catch up on sleep and take some naps during the day. In fact, tonight I came home and fell asleep on the couch after work. Hopefully this won't mean that I have a problem falling asleep tonight.
Austin is going in for nose surgury next wednesday. He is pretty nervous about it. I think it will be beneficial for him to get it but I think his recovery will be less than fun. The closer it gets, the more both of us get nervous about it. I'm ready for it to be over so we can both stop thinking about it.
