Last night, Austin took me out to dinner to THE KEG, which is a steakhouse based out of Canada and has a few locations in the US (two in Colorado!!!). Growing up, we went quite frequently to the KEG as it was one of my mom's favorite restaurants, so it's always a fun treat to be able to go down here now. It's my birthday on monday (tomorrow) and since it's on a week day it's hard to celebrate during the week. I'll be at work tomorrow, and then Heidi and I are going to a new excercise class that starts at the Rec Center and then we are going out to dinner to Nine75. I'm looking forward to it, should be a good day.

Austin is assembling the carpet cleaner vaccum I received from my parents for my birthday. A bit of an odd birthday present but I am excited. We have only been in the new house for a year but our carpet is so stained already....so it will be nice to have it cleaned. And once we have kids, having a carpet cleaner is always a good thing. Plus, we have cats who puke, and when they do, it must always be on the carpet and not on some easy to clean surface.
