I had to put gas in my car today, and boy was it ever a hit to my bank account. Jeesh. Gas prices keep rising and rising and rising. It's nuts. I live 5 miles away from where I work, so I'm lucky there and only have to put gas in my car every 3 to 4 weeks. But man oh man, it still hurts!

The record high profit is what annoys me WAY more than the cost of gas. If they were losing money, or not making record amounts, I wouldn't be as annoyed.
I drive a lot - about 70 miles a day - fortunately my Accord gets decent gas mileage, but I'm still putting in $45-50 every week. Thank goodness Scott works from home so at least we only have one car to fill up regularly.
