I have been waitlisted for the Obama speech. What a load of crap. My understanding was that tickets were going to be distributed on a first come first serve basis and I signed up right when we were notified, well before over 80,000 signed up for tickets (there are 70,000 tickets available).
So sad...

There's actually only around 30,000 tickets available for Colorado residents. :( And the official notification went out late, I think - I found the link somewhere else and posted it on Twitter.
