Molly turned 6 months old 1 1/2 weeks ago. I know, I'm only now getting around to posting the pics and blogging about it. Life has been very busy these last few weeks, with a lot of things going on at work that have required working extra hours.
Molly's 6 month doctors appointment went really well, and she did well with her shots. She is still doing very well and growing growing growing! She is 16 1/2 pounds (59% percentile) 26 1/2 inches in length (71%!!!) and her head circumference was normal 51%. How we have such a long baby neither one of us have any idea but ok! What the doctor found very interesting is that Molly has stayed at the same percentiles since she was about a month old, which is fairly unique. Most babies fluctuate. And she's doing SO well for a baby who was born in the 7th percentile for weight initially. Took her 7 days to get up to 30%.
Molly is so much fun these days. She laughs and smiles and is a bundle of energy. She enjoys being outside and going places and watching the world around her. She is having so much fun at daycare and watching the other kids. I picked her up early on thursday afternoon and she sat in my arms outside and spent a good hour just laughing at the other kids as they played. How fun!
She's babbling, and is starting to sit (but still needs support) and is started scooting on her back. Before we know it, she'lll become mobile and our lives will change quite drastically.
Life is good with Molly! Really really good!
